LONDON Day 3

 Sunday June 12, 2022

I SLEPT IN! I missed my 7 am alarm and Jaxson, Kendra, and Grace knocked on my door to awaken me! I sent them off for breakfast and quickly dressed. I found them on the street near Kensington Gardens. They handed me a coffee!

We found the Fat Tire Bike Tour and they are off on their four hour bike tour.

I have Jaxson ready to take pictures of them on the tour! I can't wait to post more. I sit in my hotel room listening to the Catholic church singing a mass to me out my window!

The travelers sent me wonderful pictures of their 4 hour bike tour! Enjoy.

After the bike ride, they had three hours to rest, but didn't!
They decided to walk back through Kensington area

I thought the TK Maxx was quite funny.

They had 20 minutes to shop at a four floor Urban Outfitters. Grace found a beautiful pink dress and Jaxson found a belt. Racing back to the hotel, I bought two pizzas, and they ate and dressed for The Globe. We made our subway times.

Walked across a bridge to THE GLOBE!

Our seats were EXCELLENT!

A dream of mine definitely came true.
The show began with a musical number.
They didn't allow pictures throughout the show, but the KING LEAR ensemble was FABULOUS. An 80+ year old actress played King Lear! She was dynamite. Although the story line was quite hard to follow, the actors were wonderful, funny, murderous, traitorous, and vicious. Gloucester's eyes were cut out by Regan, Goneril poisoned her sister. Edgar kills his brother Edmund. At last that is what we think. All in all Cordelia, even in her loyalty and love died too. Everyone dies in a Shakespeare play. LOVELY royal dance piece ending as they took their bows. A wonderful evening in London.

We were able to slowly walk the river Thames after the theater to the London Bridge. There was an awful episode on the bridge, so the four of us stood in a circle and prayed. It was a beautiful moment to bring ourselves back to gratitude and respect for all of our treasures in this one life we get to live!

and before we hopped on the subway, we noticed a full moon above the London Tower.
We made it home safely by midnight.
Day 3 was a true success.
