Rome Day 17

 

Yep, we awoke to find that our day was going to be hot. We decided to sleep in. BUT then the cleaning lady started vacuuming the hallway and awoke Grace and I and told us about a 1 mile long flea market. 

We shopped till we dropped from the heat, came back to the hotel where the others were still sound asleep. 

I was able to attend an Italian Mass, and then we all got ready for a 10pm Italian dinner near the Colosseo. 

After dinner of Brushetta, Proscuito and Mozzarella, Tagliatelli, Ravioli, and Spaghetti and Clams, we shared a Tiramisu. Then walked to the Trevi Fountain, where at midnight we all made a wish! 

After our wishes, we walked the city to the Spanish Steps, where we had the steps to ourselves!

A relaxing and splendid last full day of Rome!
