Headed to Paris Day 10

 Easy morning check out at 9am. We all took taxis to the Berlin Brandenburg airport. Arriving to separate entry gates, it took about an hour to get through SLOW security lines. But, luckily they weren't as strict about liquids and what not. 

We had the back row of the plane and couldn't recline, but it was an easy 2 hours to Paris. Half of us took a taxi and the other half took a bus and a train into Chatalet. 

We walked a few blocks to Hotel Agora where we quickly found our rooms on floors 5 and 6 and could only fit ONE person in the elevator. But, we are thankful there IS an elevator!

changed and then half took a taxi to the Fat Tire Bike Tour and the other half took two trains and learned the subway system in Paris! 

The bike tour was fun seeing main sites of the city, 

stopping for gelato and then ending with a boat ride down the Seine River just in time to see a lightening storm light up the Eiffel Tower. 

 

Girls ran in the rain and took a taxi back to the Hotel. They changed and went out to meet friends in town from home and also met up with the Bike tour leader and her brother.
